As a trained sociologist and linguist from Northern Germany, I spent ten years living and working in the UK before embarking on a global journey that took me to Southeast Asia, New Zealand, the US, Italy, and Scandinavia. I eventually settled in Portugal.

Professional Background. Before I started my translation business in 2008, I worked as a social researcher at the university. I also have worked for a media production company in Germany, for the German government, and media institutions in Germany.

Linguistic Education. I have a solid linguistic education with a degree in German language and literature and sociology. I hold postgraduate certificates in teaching German as a foreign language, coaching, writing press releases, project management, and translation.

Experience in Subject Fields. I have worked in all fields I cover in my translations. From social research to public relations to tutoring German, internal communications, and media journalism.
